Busy Bees
Independence takes center stage in this room. Busy Bees dress themselves, pour their own water and take genuine pride in doing things 'my way,' and we make room for every bit of it.
Why we hand over real, small tasks at this age
This is the age of 'I do it myself,' and rather than fight that instinct, we build the whole day to make room for it. Real tasks with real stakes, like pouring, buttoning and tidying, build the independence and self-belief that carry a child straight into preschool.
What your child gains here
Self-care mastery
Zippers, snack pouring and hand-washing, practiced daily until they're second nature.
Early problem-solving
Simple puzzles and building challenges with just enough difficulty to be satisfying.
Cooperative play
Small groups working toward one shared goal, like a block tower or a group painting, build real teamwork.
Pre-literacy foundations
Letter shapes appear in play, traced in sand or matched on letter cards, with zero pressure attached.
